Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Lymphatic massage is a gentle massage which is also known as lymphatic drainage or manual lymph drainage. This massage technique originally was started by Dr Emil Vodder and Dr Estrid Vodderi from denmark in the early 30’s for the purpose of treating immune related illnesses such as colds and sinusitis.

This particular massage targets the lymph system which is the human body’s drainage mechanism. The lymph system is responsible for cleaning the body of harmful organisms that accumulates everyday. Massaging the lymph nodes and it’s paths will encourage and help the body in house cleaning itself and discards unwanted organisms back to the bloodstreams, which are then processed by the body for elimination.
