Places of interest:

The Stanhope Village – it is a mini shopping centre that has a variety of stores, independent retail shops and few bigger companies including, coles, kmart and aldi. They also have a decent food court with diverse culinary choices that caters to people both young and older. Shopping experience here is not just inside but also on the outer side. Along sentry drive different kinds of establishments are lined up such as restaurants, medical centre and many others.

Blacktown Leisure Centre – it is located on the other side of Sentry Drive. There is a pedestrian crossing to make it easier and safe for kids and parents to go and walk to. They have swimming pool, gym, basketball/netball/volleyball courts and tennis courts. Look out for tournaments, they often run sports tournament on every season. Specially during the christmas school holidays.

Dennis Johnson Branch Library – is located inside the blacktown leisure centre. They have a good number of books, magazines, publications and many other things that you can read within the facility or can take home as long as you are a member and checked it out properly. They also have computers with very good internet connection. You can bring your own gadget and device and connect for free in their public wifi.

Stanhope Anglican Church – It is a very new church along view street. Talk about the church building. It is a beautiful modern art structure. I guess it is one of the best looking structure in the suburb.
